ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE ASSOCIATION
In order to effect the objectives of this Association, certain programs and projects have been planned and executed to com-pletion:
SCHOLARSHIPS
Four (4) Scholarships are awarded each year to engineering students in the Baltimore area; Two (2) $1,000 awards to either a Hopkins or U.M.B.C. student and two (2) $500 "Marano Scholarship Fund" awards to Poly students.
MEMRA PRODUCTS EXPOSITIONS
Periodic expositions have been held, with an average of nearly 100 manufacturers, in conjunction with their representatives, exhibiting mechanical equipment in the Baltimore area.
DIRECTORY OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
This is the directory of members and the manufacturers they represent. It is distributed to a combined mailing list of all members and reaches architects, engineers, contractors, sup-pliers, users and manufacturers. All listings of Firms and Individuals are "Authorized Factory Representatives" or "Duly Appointed Agents."
MEETINGS & PROGRAMS
Monthly meetings are held to carry out the business of the Association and to provide information to the membership. The objective of our Program is to seek better ways to serve the industry as well as information which will help our members improve the efficiency of their business operations.
